Panasas Wins 'Excellence In Cluster Technology Award' at ClusterWorld 2004

Panasas ActiveScale Storage Cluster Recognized as Best Storage Solution

SAN JOSE, Calif. — April 9, 2004 — Panasas, Inc., the leader in object-based storage for scalable Linux clusters, today announced that the Panasas ActiveScale Storage Cluster won the "Excellence in Cluster Technology Award" in the Storage Solutions category at the 2004 ClusterWorld Conference and Expo. The judging panel included cluster technology experts from the National Science Foundation, Duke University, Lockheed-Martin, Indiana University, the Moscow Joint Supercomputing Center and ClusterWorld Magazine.
