Randy Strahan leads Panasas as President and CEO with more than 20 years of experience in senior general management and operations.
Randy's successes include past tenure as President and CEO of Telmax Communications, a privately held company that manufactures and markets telecommunication equipment to telephone companies. Previously he spent 20 years in various management positions at Pacific Bell, serving most notably as President of Pacific Bell's Service Operations Division where he was responsible for all customer service delivery in the company.
He is also affiliated with Mohr Davidow Ventures where he assists portfolio companies develop operations strategies. He has successfully served as interim CEO at a number of MDV's early stage investment companies. Additionally, he currently serves on the board of nLight Photonics.
Randy earned a bachelor's degree (summa cum laude) in criminology from California State University, Fresno, and a master's degree in business administration (MBA) from Chapman College in Orange, California. He also participated in the Sloan Senior Executive Program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Advanced Management Program, Telecommunications, at the University of Southern California.
