Unsurpassed integration, reliability and capacity
The ActiveStor 200 second tier parallel storage cluster is the world’s
first fully parallel secondary storage solution. It packs a robust 104 TB of storage into half a standard rack and delivers up to 350 MB/s of throughput to primary storage via the DirectFLOW®
protocol.
It provides up to 208 TB of storage and 700 MB/s of throughput
from a standard 42U rack. Multiple racks can be added and configured
to provide storage pools of multiple Petabytes, all managed by a common
file system and management interface.
In environments where ActiveStor 4000 or 6000 parallel storage clusters
are deployed, the ActiveStor 200 enables the benefits of scalability,
performance and simplified management to be extended to second-tier
storage applications by sharing the same underlying file system architecture
and management tools.
